this is a waste of time, the movie quality sucks, you cant understand what's happening, just saw the boss, the dude dps/healing/tank. I have no ideas why 1000+ ppl watching this crap. perhaps, WoW is a NEW CRACK.
Mattimus Mar 17th 2009 11:18PM
"New"?
The_Nexus Mar 17th 2009 9:48PM
Well we're all waiting... revived the chat, heh.
Adam, why'd you leave us? =P
Adam Holisky Mar 17th 2009 9:42PM
Ha, I was actually just idling in there so I could check in every half hour and see if it was still running.
Technically I spend my nights with my girlfriend. If I don't I tend to have trouble the next day.
The_Nexus Mar 17th 2009 9:52PM
Oh, I see. Well, I guess we all in the chat box got a response for why you didn't. :D
Well, thanks for the answer. Just drop in again later. =P

I love that people complain the ptr can ruin parts of the game and then this site goes and broadcasts testing fights...
uncaringbear Mar 18th 2009 1:43AM
Hmmm, all this action on the PTR servers kinda invalidates any shred of significance when so-called "world first" boss kills happen later on the live servers.
Warcrack Mar 18th 2009 5:23AM
@Uncearingbear. The bosses aren't always exactly the same going from PTR to live.
Either way, I think these guilds are all pathetic for doing PTR. They only do it so they can get a "precious" higher ranking on wow-jutsu etc. They really have no life; these guilds have to be available for PTR every single night, for as long as it goes.

If you do not like it; fine. You can go elsewhere.
People play world of warcraft for different reasons. Many like to play casually a few nights a week, and possibly see content from time to time. Others, however, pay to play this game to WIN it, and to be number one; no matter the cost.
You pay $15 per month, just as everybody else does. Your opinion is your own, and that is fine. I play WoW to be number one, to say I've done it, and to prove that I can beat the game. You might not, that is fine.
We do have a 6:30PM to 2am scheduled raid time for when Ulduar and 3.1 goes live, which does seem like a lot, but these players commit to these raid times because they WANT to.
Everybody plays for their own reasons. We want to be number one, so we put forth the effort.
Don't complain when we are sitting there 1 month down the road fullclearing on Tuesdays, and you are still wiping with your guild on Deconstructor come Monday evening.
Warcrack Mar 18th 2009 6:55PM
LOL I don't even have a 70 let alone an 80. I'm smart enough to figure out when someone (or some company) is trying to milk me for my money with endless Fedex quests and artificial barriers to finishing quickly (being locked to raids etc). I've mostly given up gaming because real life is far more enjoyable when you put forth the effort to be successful.
The only reason I'm commenting is because I know someone in the guild and they have no life because of being totally committed to the stupid raid times.
I'm currently applying to medical school, so I'm not really that worried about "being the best WoW player I can be," but rather, the best student I can be. If only more of you guys focused on school, you'd be successful in life instead of just WoW. For instance, I've heard Amalyth (I may be wrong here, so forgive me if so) calls in sick to work if the PTR comes up unexpectedly.
Anyway, to each his own. I hope you guys get sponsored or something, because if you don't get some compensation, it's definitely not worth the opportunities you lose due to spending so much time playing; unless you're happy with mediocrity, that is. By the way, that is the proper use of a semicolon (yes, I'm being pedantic, thank you).

@Warcrack
Honestly, I was bummed when the beta for Wrath came out and I knew I wouldn't be on it. Then I realized that would mean I had to level to 80 twice per character and figured "wow, that's pretty stupid." Not only that, but you get to play on buggy servers. Yeah, I'll pass thanks.
jsemtady Mar 23rd 2009 9:14PM
if some guild wants to be first guild which can beat Ulduar then they must try it on PTR.
