Team Fortress 2 meets World of Warcraft

You can download this map for TF2 and a very similar one for Counter-Strike: Source over at the creator's blog. I doubt it'll jump to the top of any major playlists any time soon, but if your usual group of TF2 friends also have spent some time in the Arenas, they'll probably get a kick out of it.

The writer at WoWInsider and this poster (and the other one) should be ashamed.
Only noobs use "yo dawg", the correct form (which X to tha Z even knows himself) is "'sup dawg".

Omg this is beyond awesome. I was just playing TF2 during the maintenence when I saw this. Perfect replica; it feels like playing wow and tf2 at the same time.

It's freaky seeing wow map from a first person viewpoint. Kinda made me queasy.

If you're referring to the video, thats 3rd person. ;-D
And you can play that arena in 1st person in WoW too, just zoom in 100% :D

This is definitely a plus in my book. Possibly a way to get back into TF2 a little bit. Just got to find a way to get a close knit group of friends to play TF2 though. Making friends (and enemies) is much easier in wow. +rep for this post :)

Wait a minute - they're already there, just slower and more frustrating. Could it be that all team PvP is just copied maps from ten years ago? Warsong Gulch is just 2Fort stretched out. Strand of the Ancients is very reminiscent of the beach invasion in the old Enemy Territory and so it goes on.
TF2 is the ultimate PvP team game and it's what I play when I feel the need for PvP, rather than getting ganked by twinks ;-)
