Those are two different situations.

The first can be said to be need just as much as and upgrade would be. It is benefiting your entire guild, just as an upgrade to your tank would benefit the entire guild.

The second, however, is pure greed. It has remifications on on you and does not benefit anyone but yourself.

Need>Greed. That is how loot should work. Period. Money, 99% percent of the time, should not be in the equation. What if that BoE epic is best in slot for the tier of gear thats availible to you?

And to be honest, i'm complety shocked that anyone in this day and age still needs money bad enough that they would take a BoE epic away from someone who needed just to get a measly 1kg.
