Ladies and gentlemen, I am honored to bring you the single greatest news WoW Insider has ever covered in the history of Warcraft. Behold! World of Warcraft Mountain Dew!Okay, okay, so it's not that amazing, but it's still pretty awesome. Soda (pop, whatever) is one of my few vices, and I have this strange fascination with trying out all of the new and exciting flavors that soda companies put out over the summer months. Do you remember 7Upside Down that 7UP tried a few years ago? dnL? No? I do. It was delicious. This? World of Warcraft Game Fuel? It, too, will be delicious, just like the Halo Game Fuel that came before it.
Release dates or availability hasn't been shared yet, the official World of Warcraft website states they'll announce that sort of thing at a later date, but they do have the flavors listed! There will be two of them, one for the Horde and one for the Alliance. The Horde's Game Fuel will come in Citrus Cherry, and the Alliance's Fuel will be Wild Fruit flavored. The Horde's version sounds a little too Code Red to me, so I think I'll give the Wild Fruit a whirl first.
Truly, we live in a great age.
Edit: I am a fool. A foolish fool. The foolishest! I just looked it up, and the Citrus Cherry flavor isn't Code Red at all. It's the same flavor as the Halo Game Fuel. For the Horde!

I love WoW and I love Mt. Dew...
But this leaves me feeling cold and uneasy. This is the kind of thing they do for Halo Frat boys. I hate those people and suddenly I feel like I am being treated like one of them.

believe me--you won't be treated like frat "brahs' when you mention you play WoW in a group of them. You'll be treated the exact same as always--like crap.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying.
I don't think I will be treated like a frat boy by other people but rather by the idiots in marketing and the idiots who decide what to do for meta-game stuff associated with the game.
Gamer Fuel was a marketing gimmick to give the frat boys something to obsess over when Halo came out. I despise these idiots who don't play any game other than Halo and call themselves "gamers" and the people in marketing who pander to them and create marketing stuff just for them.
It annoys me that WoW is becoming a Halo where this kind of childish marketing gimmick gets people excited. I don't like being lumped together with the frat boy Halo players.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Halo and WoW share the same demographic, and its not just 'frat boys'. Halo is also filled with 13 year olds that just learned how to cuss and practice it obsessively on voice chat. The same can be said for WoW.

I've hated every flavor so far except Livewire, and that's only around in the summer. Fail.
