Ladies and gentlemen, I am honored to bring you the single greatest news WoW Insider has ever covered in the history of Warcraft. Behold! World of Warcraft Mountain Dew!Okay, okay, so it's not that amazing, but it's still pretty awesome. Soda (pop, whatever) is one of my few vices, and I have this strange fascination with trying out all of the new and exciting flavors that soda companies put out over the summer months. Do you remember 7Upside Down that 7UP tried a few years ago? dnL? No? I do. It was delicious. This? World of Warcraft Game Fuel? It, too, will be delicious, just like the Halo Game Fuel that came before it.
Release dates or availability hasn't been shared yet, the official World of Warcraft website states they'll announce that sort of thing at a later date, but they do have the flavors listed! There will be two of them, one for the Horde and one for the Alliance. The Horde's Game Fuel will come in Citrus Cherry, and the Alliance's Fuel will be Wild Fruit flavored. The Horde's version sounds a little too Code Red to me, so I think I'll give the Wild Fruit a whirl first.
Truly, we live in a great age.
Edit: I am a fool. A foolish fool. The foolishest! I just looked it up, and the Citrus Cherry flavor isn't Code Red at all. It's the same flavor as the Halo Game Fuel. For the Horde!

yeah that stuff was tasty, i remember the first time i had it was before it came out, they were promoting it in downtown cleveland and i happened to be there

I *hope* they carry this in 2-liter form, because Game Fuel was awesome, I still have three 12packs I found recently at the store.
There sure are a ton of Mountain Dews now though, with all these limited editions, and the AMPs too.

I was so ridiculously addicted to Halo Game Fuel when it first came out. That drink was synonymous with my late nights leveling in WoW. I'm happy to see this drink come back... for the horde!

OK, I hate most Mt Dew products, but just for the coolness, I will buy two of each flavor, one to try, and one to put on the shelf...

Ah, now maybe I won't have to save those two precious cans of Halo game fuel I have in the fridge...
Really wish they'd bring back Mountain Dew Pitch Black though. Be perfect for the Lich King, wouldn't it?
Hopefully there will also be some aluminum bottles, it doesn't make the drink taste better, and they cost a heck of a premium, but they're cool to have around.

First of all I have to lol just a little at the comments about how about making something more healthy and then suggesting Vitamin Water. You guys do know that Vitamin Water and soda have the same amount of sugar right?
Just throwing that out there.
I do however agree with everyone suggesting more healthy choices. Like several people I will probably buy one for my collectible shelf but thats about that.

Ofc you get it here via Ebay, and also on a very few Gas Stations...but you cant really buy it bulk in Supermarkets or so... its just not here.

I missed that flavor of Mountain Dew that had the Halo 3 promo. Now only if they sold Baja Blast in regular stores rather than Taco Bell. I would probably give myself diabetes.

I wonder if this'll be sold up here in Canada? By law, non-cola pop cannot contain caffeine, unless it's labeled as an energy drink. Yes, that means our Mtn Dew doesn't have caffeine. It sucks, I know. I can't remember if they sold Game Fuel up here or not.

I've heard about that law before. It seems so strange to me. What's the reasoning behind it? They don't think Canadians can handle reading a label to check caffeine content? Yeesh.
I would not drink Mountain (sorry, "Mtn") Dew if not for the caffeine. I only drink soda when I want a caffeine. My fiance is addicted to the stuff, but I really don't like how Mtn Dew tastes. I didn't like any of the flavors they had during their contest last summer, either.
