Updated Ulduar testing schedule

- All trash will now be in place – that means we'll get to see the trash we have to deal with when Ulduar goes live.
- All loot should be in place, except for some trash loot – that means look for updated and complete loot tables soon.
- Many achievements are active and functional – many placeholder achievements have been removed, but a few are still there.
The complete testing schedule for this week is after the break. We'll continue to carry live streams when we can (or when the PTR cooperates with us)

When do we actually get to try Yogg Saron? First post anyway :P
Clbull Mar 19th 2009 1:19PM
I'd imagine that Yogg Saron would not be tested, because its meant to be a major last boss. Even if he was then I think the testing wouldn't last that long

Nice work guys, I love reading your strats on the fights in Ulduar since I haven't had time to experiment much in the PTR myself.

After your last intelligent comment about BoE loot drops, it's good to see you're doing plenty of sucking up as possible while still plugging your site. GG buddy keep up the good work.

I could be wrong but i think they said they were holding off on Yogg Saron until the patch actually goes live so it will be a surprise, I guess.
Christian Mar 19th 2009 1:33PM
I'm very sure they won't put Yoggy on the PTR, in fact I hope he won't, because he should be a surprise to everybody. He may turn out to be unbeatable like C'thun was, but a couple of hot fixes and he'll be down.

I understand they're both Old Gods, but why does everyone assume they will be similar fights or have similar balance issues? Blizzard has years of practice in creating boss encounters since C'thun.
Hendrata Mar 19th 2009 1:36PM
Wow, does this means it's going live real soon? Like in a couple weeks?
Bossy Mar 19th 2009 1:56PM
My bet is Apr 7 and 8 now.
2.5 weeks to get the arena titles and last full gear sets of Nax.

I bet it goes live in 3 weeks. Going to hit 80 come Saturday and going on 10 and 25 man runs. I have a guild who is geared and looking for more casters. With warlocks being so rare these days I stand a much better chance of getting into groups. When I played my death knight to 80 I would get picked over because there were so many dk-tards in the group already.
