Not only is this wand purty, but the damage it pushes out is purty good, too.
Name: Gemmed Wand of the Nerubians (Wowhead, Thottbot, WoW-Arsenal)
Type: Epic Wand (Shadow damage)
Damage/Speed: 362 - 674 / 1.80 (287.8 DPS)
Abilities:

Abilities:
- +27 Stamina, +22 Intellect
- Improves hit rating by 18, haste rating by 22, and spell power by 37
- Seems to be the only epic wand in the game with hit rating on it. So if you need that extra HR, it's the wand for you.
- Especially good (in fact, probably the best right now) for DPS casters, including Warlocks, Spriests and Mages.
- And as you may have noticed by now, it is actually the "ungemmed" wand of Azjol-Nerub's Nerubians -- despite the name, there are no gem sockets on it at all.
Getting Rid of It: Will sell back to vendors for 15g 25s 74c, though you probably won't want to do that until Ulduar shows up on the live realms. And of course if you're in a raid and everyone who needs one already has one, it'll disenchant into an Abyss Crystal.

Best in slot wand for Affliction Warlocks, and probably a few other classes/builds.
The Hit rating is nice, and so is the SP.

Best in slot for us mages I know. I've seen it drop once and lost the damned roll. Crossing my fingers for tonight! :)

If it had empty slots, it would be the ungemmed wand. However, it has many gems on it already. Gems that make it as powerful as it is, gems that we cannot remove or replace.

Indeed, while it's not the best modeled wand, the stats clearly make up for it. Once Ulduar hits, I'll be looking forward to new wand models with crazy stats.

I didn't know dps casters used wands to a significant extent. i only use them for finishing off enemies while I'm soloing to save mana.

NOT the BiS for any mage unless you are dont raid naxx25. And if you are low on hit the uk wand is better and also looks better.

This was my first lvl 213 item. Had no idea it was so badass until after I won the roll and compared it to other wands... hands down this thing is the best right now.

Saw it drop twice on my spriest, lost the roll first time won it the second.
