I think this is the first article I've seen that says meaningful things about the base stat numbers instead of things like "aim for 30% dodge unbuffed" -- give me a number of agility, PLEASE (about 600 iirc)

That would be silly because agility isn't the only stat contributing to your dodge. You also have to factor in dodge rating and defense rating and talents to give you a final dodge number. You could have zero +agi and still have 30% dodge (in theory).
For example, my feral has about 39% dodge.
~1% comes from defense rating.
~6% comes from dodge rating.
10% from talents.
I don't have a clue what my base dodge is, but that leaves another 22% to come from that and agility, of which I have around 1k.
TL;DR version: Agility isn't everything, that's why.

I heart me some big bear butt hold the baddies attention while I chop them down, but this is a warrior blog. Not druids. Not trying to diss, but Rossi is probably the best blogger on wowinsider, and always writes insightful articles for... warriors.

Fixed.
At the risk of sounding like an ass-kisser Rossi is hands down the most informative blogger on this site. If they rest of them could even look like they understood their classes/topics as much the site would be a tad bit more reputable in my humble opinion.
