I am a feral tank, and looking at numbers like "30,000 hp" or 30% dodge is pretty annoying when I'm not in game because the armory page doesn't reflect the hp or dodge in bear form, so when I'm away from the game and researching online, I can't REALLY compare the stats.

that being said, my feral tank right now has almost exactly the 30-30-30 hp-armor-dodge in bear form.

the armory stats are:

Agi: 589
Dodge: 81
Stamina: 1366
Base armor: 4745

So if you're planning to tank heroics, those are the approximate armory numbers for feral tanks

A resource I heartily recommend for every player, but druids especially, is RAWR, which you can download from the Druid Wiki. It is an external program that you can use to pull your toon from the Armory and examine gear upgrades, buff effects, talent changes, etc, etc.

I'm saying it again, but I mean no slight. Mr. Rossi writes for warriors. There are other blogs dedicated to druids. So while your response was valuable to up-and-coming feral tanks, if they are reading a warrior blog for advice, they are probably not going to be the most valuable tank for you anyway.

i.e. I would be silly to read "The light, and how to swing it..." for advice on gearing my fury warrior (most likely to be an arms warrior after nerfbat 3.1 swingeth).
