Ideally the prices of flasks will halve. But the supply and demand will double. Hence no affect overall. If you are currently raiding 10 hours a week, flasked the whole time, you would require 5 flasks. After 3.1 you will need 10.INFACT. What it will do is encourage people to flask for short raids, of which there are a few. (Maly, VOA and OS). At the moment, nobody bothers to blow a 2 hour flask for a raid that takes 20-30mins, and only one boss. (Obvious exception is 3D)It really surprises me how little the writers of this site appear to understand the game."We can speculate that this change is in part to due to the difficulty ramp-up that will occur in Ulduar. We know that Ulduar is going to be harder, and so this change will help soften the time required to come prepared."Where did you pull this logic from? You will still need the same amount of time flasked, regardless of how long the flasks last. Yes, they will most likely become cheaper, BUT YOU NEED TWICE AS MANY. For you to save money, the price of the new 1 hour flasks would have to more than halve.God, its so simple, why do I have to explain it?

@slartibart - in that case, they should edit the commentary as well as the information, because right now they're leaving themselves looking pretty foolish.
