In all honesty, there's nothing wrong with Blizzard's new Equipment Manager. It's incredibly simple to use, and does exactly what it's supposed to: changes your gear. If that's all you ever used Outfitter for in the first place, don't bother with a new addon and just wait till 3.1.
That said, if you like those fancy features (automatic mount/stealth/swimming/etc triggered "stances"), then try 'em and pick one you like. If all you need is a simple button to push to switch out your gear sets, use the Equipment Manager :P
