We here at WoW Insider are on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.The name Lissanna is well-known to many Druids. She has been posting quality feedback and guides on the Official Forums Druid class section for years. Now she has started her own blog, Restokin, to post her guides, analysis and opinions on the many different Druid specs. Here's a sampling of what she already has up:

Access has been restored as of 3:52PM EST, for now anyway.
The site may be interrupted again in the future when transferring to a new host and the DNS entries are changed. Or if we get another /. effect.
I am unhappy that this happened but at least this occurred when the site is still relatively new. Just means there is less to move when switching hosts.
When I get the new hosting set up and start the transfer process I will get a splash page up with a link to the IP address. I would expect that to occur this weekend when I have more time to take care of such matters.
In the end warning would have been nice but it would not have really mattered the same effect would have happened.
To all of you who have navigated to the site while it was down and in the future if there are still problems, thank you for your interest. I will not speak for Lissanna but I am sure she will be happy to know of your interest in her blog. And to those who were able to have the page load we are also grateful of your interest. Expect more to come in the near future as we kick the tires of the blog software.

Rapidvps is tops, I do a lot of work with them and they are a reliable / honest company.
But seriously a proper shared account shouldn't have this problem. WI is not Slashdot but any means and our customers usually survive a slashdotting here and there.

I'm not really sure if the planet offers VPN but hell they service is awesome IMO. We have 5 web servers with them. But they are dedicated servers.

That blows I can't even get on the site even after trying after 9 hours might have to wait a couples days if it is still up.

I am really excited about this blog. I am getting 404 forbidden messages when I try to get there and Im glad someone explained what might be happening, eg, the server has been locked because of overload. I do hope a better hosting site can be found because I think I will love this new site a lot.

I knew my site would probably make an appearance here, but we thought it could handle it, lol. I just got home from class (I schedule stuff to overlap with Tuesday maintenance).
It should (on normal days) be functioning properly. I didn't have problems with it before it got cross-posted here...
