I still don't understand how the rogues who QQ can completely and utterly glosses over how advantageous it is for them to be able to stealth and choose their fights. Being able to choose who and when to strike is overwhelmingly important, but people fail to see the purpose of it.
Rogues are meant to be somewhat fragile, so you WILL NOT be able to stand toe-to-toe and expect to have an equal advantage against every class/spec - which is why you have stealth and so many escape & avoidance abilities on cooldowns.
I enjoy playing my rogue and agree with the article about the skill cap, but understanding and appreciating the complexity of the class needs to be put in perspective. Being able to start, stop, restart, postpone and ultimately control your fights with even 50% reliability is an immeasurable defense if used correctly (hence the skill) that few other classes have in comparable form.

This.
You can't and shouldn't be able to stand toe-to-toe with plate classes. You need to USE your CDs to outmaneuver and beat them, while clothies are pretty much your cannon fodder.
Talk to mages, who still have to work their butts off to kill the classes that are easiest for them to kill.

This. The article completely glosses over the advantage of stealth and picking your time to engage, ETC. Not to mention the defensive power of strong offense (stunlock anyone?). If you look at any facet of any class you could come up with similar vunerabilities but you really need to evaluate the whole package.
