One Boss Leaves: Palehoof and Co. take out Infinite Corruptor

Gortok Palehoof and his posse ran roughshod over the Infinite Corruptor in this week's Two Bosses Enter ... One Boss Leaves. Readers relished the opportunity to run an entire group of NPCs through Old Stratholme to meet up with the Dragonspawn at the end.
"Remember, it's not just about which boss would win, it's about the race to the finish," commented Samedji. "Gortok and friends ... have to make it through eight waves of Undead, several waves of Dragonflight, some miscellaneous baddies down that last hallway and then the Corrupter himself. Don't forget about Meathook, the Fleshcrafter, and the Infinite agent in town hall, as well."
"Even with all of these distractions, I think Gortok takes this home," he continued. "The Rhino has some serious tanking and damage dealing abilities, on par with a DK. The worm quickly whittles down boss armor and HP, while Gortok and the Furbolg have some serious AOE abilities. With that potent combination of single target damage and AOE clearing, it should be no small matter to get to IC in 25 minutes. Even assuming that he loses his two least useful assistants in this quest, the Wolvar and the Furbolg, I think the combination of stuns and damage dealing abilities is too much for the ol' corrupter.
"Gortok and his buddies better bring along dice, because they'll be rolling for an epic riding drake."
Let's just hope they don't show up on Guildwatch for trying to ninja the drop!

Vote in the next deathmatch featuring bosses from the five-man Wrath of the Lich King instances when Two Bosses Enter returns later today.

Don't you mean Old Hillsbrad?

No, he is right. The Infinite Corruptor is in Old Stratholme, also known as the Culling of Stratholme.

Are you stuck in BC?
Lost in time perhaps: =P

Nah! :D I see my error now.
It's my lack of heroic CoS that got me. I couldn't remember ever fighting this guy...
Pardon my ignorance.

I demand a rematch! There is no possible way that they would even make it to IC without a healer. I call Shenannigans, I'm of to get my broom!

Surprisingly, the Furbolg can heal. He's a Shaman, you know?

Who would win in a fight Brann Bronzebeard or Hemet Nesingwary?

I don't think I entirely follow the reasoning that the infinite Corrupter wins if he runs away (at least that's sort of what it sounds like from the getting there in time is part of the fight talk), I mean, normally the person or party running away has lost or is losing.

Heh. That's pretty cool. Glad to see Gortok & Co. get a win here, as the hard part is actually getting to the Corrupter in time, not the fight itself.
Thanks for using my comment, Wowinsider! My guild thought it was cool too. ?:)
