Huge huge mistake on the part of the ele shaman article: The rotation he posts does not account for Glyph of flame shock. Do not use this rotation.
If raiding you MUST have that glyph, and you must be hitting lava burst as soon as it's up, not waiting till the dot is up.
Additionally, there is no "rotation" for elemental shamans, only "priority" and cooldown management. 1) Flameshock, 2) Lavaburst, 3) Chain Lightning, 4) Lightning Bolt. LB and CL are debatable.
otherwise i generally agree with his stat rankings. I personally wouldn't neglect Haste so much to get 30% crit. 25% to 27% is fine, since your actual crit rate will run around 45%+ in 25 mans.
If you can get your haste above 500, your LBs cast quick enough to get a monster rotation of 4 LBs between lavabursts. /drool.

@Doma - Second. As comments to the Ele Sham article said, he wrote the whole thing without looking at EJ, which has an extensive section on playing elemental. This link is a waste of time where the EJ page is much better.

This is exactly like Ret. No we DO NOT face roll. We actually have to manage at least 5(!!!!!) attack cool downs as well as 1-3 trinket like CD's and 1 mana CD simultaneously, and believe me, getting out of sync or having to "catch up" to your CD's screws your DPS up so hard.
