Regarding skimpy female armor, I'm female and I don't find it degrading. It's nice to have the option of having a sexy looking toon; this is fantasy after all. And as the author of this article pointed out, it is very much an option. If you want to look like a librarian or an Azerothian school marm, you can. You want to look like a sexy she-goat, you can do that too ;) I think that too often people confuse prudishness with political correctness or sensitivity to feminist issues. It would be degrading if the game portrayed women as victims in the lore. It would be degrading if the game limited the classes that female toons could play or had gender affect skill caps or talents. Letting female toons show a little skin if they want to is not degrading, and personally I think that Andrew R.'s suggestion otherwise is a bit patronizing.
