Entire post just screams QQ.You're not entitled to have your gearing priorities stay consistent throughout the entire game. Are you seriously wanting us to believe that other classes' loot priorities won't change as well in 3.1?So you spent some DKP on some gear and now wish that you'd spent it on something else. Quit crying and learn to adapt. Not saying that your post doesn't have some good points, it just reeks of a sense of entitlement and class bias.If the worst thing you have to worry about is that your enchants don't come with Strenght instead of AP - then you've GOT IT PRETTY DAM GOOD AS FAR AS YOUR CLASS IS CONCERNED.

Where in this post did I say anything about us being entitled to our gearing remaining static? Was it when I said that this was a long term buff to the class? Was it when I pointed out that plate itemization is in fact bad, which is why we often choose leather items, and that this change is basically necessary to make the design goal of getting warriors to use plate DPS gear? I'm curious. Since you seem to have read some other column, maybe you could provide some insight on what the column you read had to say about these things. Did Matthew from Universe B have any ideas I've missed?

I'm usually on your side matt, and I agree with the article, but you really shouldn't have attacked this guy for pointing out that your article is a giant QQ. That's exactly what it is. It doesn't make you wrong, adn ti doesn't mean you shouldn't be crying about this change, but you ARE crying about it. just because you never said the words "I think we are entitled to static gear choices" doesn't mean your entire article didn't give that impression.Parsing your words like a politician is beneath you, Matt. You know as well as anyone that the words you use and the meaning they convey can be very different. Calling someone out for pointing out the obvious tone of the article that doesn't necessarily match the exact words you used is as bad as Clinton saying he thought "sexual relations" only meant intercourse. It's hiding behind semantics, and it's shameful.Stand up and defend your QQ instead of talking out of both sides of your mouth. You're right, this is a decided nerf as gear stands now, and you have every right to be upset about it. Don't attack the guy for pointing out the tone, attack him for being wrong. 4 years worth of static itemization DOES give you some ground to stand on to keep expecting that. Defend your attitude and defend your article, but don't mince words. It makes you sound childish.

That's not really being fair Heilig. Saying that a post is just a QQ implies that don't really have something legitimate to be complaining about. This hasn't been a QQ. This has been voicing of important and legitimate concerns about the state of our class.Warrior itemization is really that bad. This is a legitimate thing to complain about. The only thing static about the situation is how broken it has been since day one. This isn't a new issue. Warriors have been ditching Str plate with poor stat spreads for leather with awesome stat spreads for a long time. We don't WANT to use leather or mail. We WANT to use plate. We want to be decked out in awesome plate armor with good dps stats. There's 2 problems with this: 1) The core mechanics of warrior dps don't support this and 2) The gear isn't there. The start of the expansion would have been a good time to address this issue by changing some of the core mechanics of plate dps classes (one of which was INTRODUCED in the expansion) and by making sure that at the current end game there was sufficient gear available to be able to effectively stack Str. Whether it was laziness or negligence, NEITHER were done. I won't be as nice as some posters are. This situation is a problem that has been around for a while and nothing has been done about it. This is a problem that could be fixed if they just took the time to DO IT. And don't tell me it just isn't that easy. Enhancement Shaman itemization was solved easily enough by changing some stat values and itemization. This whole situation stinks of negligence.I've frankly just stopped dpsing on my warrior because of the itemization. The TG nerf has killed my desire to ever play Fury again. Arms is -in a word- broken. I've specced Prot and just started leveling other characters to dps with that can actually take advantage of itemization as it stands. If better gear options become available things might change. I'm just really sick of Blues telling us they want us to wear plate over and over again and then not giving us any damn plate to wear. Don't tell us you want us to take advantage of gear that doesn't exist.

Did you even read my post? Let me quote some of it for you."It doesn't make you wrong, adn ti doesn't mean you shouldn't be crying about this change""You're right, this is a decided nerf as gear stands now, and you have every right to be upset about it""4 years worth of static itemization DOES give you some ground to stand on to keep expecting that"I agree with everything Matt said in the article. That doesn't mean it's not QQ, it's just justified QQ. Which was my entire point. The other guy told Matt that he was QQing and that he had no right to expect anything to stay. Rather than fight back against the guy's premise that his QQ is unjustified, Matt attacked his language. I am telling Matt that he is QQing and that he IS justified, he IS right, and he should have stood on the firm ground he has to stand on rather than parse his words.I don't have any problems with the post. I agree with it 100%. I disagree with the manner in which Matt handled the troll.

Replying to my own comment here since I can't get a 'Reply' button to the responses below me.The static gearing issue was referring to your first paragraph:"...a change to fury that alters the talent Improved Berserker Stance. Instead of providing 10% of AP, it now will provide 20% of your Strength. (It's been buffed since it was first introduced, it was 15% then.) When I saw this I thought it was the greatest change ever... until I remembered there are no strength enchants to gloves in Wrath level content, but just AP. Massacre? AP enchant. Berserking? Provides AP. Blessing of Might? AP. What about most of the rings and almost all of the cloaks and neck pieces available in current Wrath raiding? AP. And of course, what about leather gear you may have been wearing because it's the best in slot, like say the Frosted Adroit Handguards? No strength on those."Your gearing priority has just changed a very slight amount. Thus not remaining static. You're crying about the change. Thus you're crying about it not remaining static.Grow up. Lose your class bias and at least make a modest attempt at seeing the situation from the perspective of BALANCE as opposed to blatant class favoritism. (Not that I don't think DKs and to some extent some other classes haven't had it way too good in the last few months.)Again, you had some good points, like the leather issue. Lost in the QQ, mostly.A change from AP to Strength is a very minor change, and you're blowing this way out of proportion.Lastly, the hyperbole of supposing I had read an article in another universe is hardly warranted. Your tone and general demeanor comes off as someone who is used to mommy and daddy giving them what they want when they want, and any problems that arise can immediately be solved with a temper tantrum.

And yes having to change gear to just become more raid viable after a nerf sucks. And as someone has alrdy said why take a warrior fury or prot to a raid when there are classes *cough DK's cough* that can tank just as well and will more than likely be doing much more dps come 3.1.
