I have found very few Shaman blogs to track out there. Shamantics, Shields Up, Windfury and Thunderstorm mostly. If you know of any good Shammie blogs that post guides and tips (not just "here's what my guild killed in Naxx last night") let me know and I'll add them to my list.

Look, I'm sorry, I don't want to be a jerk, but why are you linking to a Druid blog written by someone who still doesn't have T7 pants, and thinks that the +250 mana chest enchant is better than both the 8mp5 and the +10 to all stats? That's as far as I was able to get before I shut it down.
I'm not saying every has to be a min/maxing master, but if one of the premier WoW sites is linking to your guide on how to min/max, I would expect you to be at least somewhat knowledgeable.

My gf and i were discussing the revealing clothes on the female characters in wow, and she said it was kind of annoying....
so my plan? get that set for her pally, so that next time she logs in she looks like that LOL

That is indeed the Battleforge set. My own Blood elf female paladin just leveled out of those legs. Eugh. They were the only mail "of the bear" legs on the AH near my level. :s
