25-man gear should not be better than 10-man gear

I would agree with you except for one detail.... the reason that you think that 25 mans are harder is because they actually implemented extra things to worry about for some fights (KT comes to mind). If they actually tuned the 10 mans to be as difficult as the 25 mans from a mechanics stand point then you sure as hell wouldnt be snoring.
