25-man gear should not be better than 10-man gear

But 25-man bosses drop twice as much loot. There's a statistical difference, but a very small one:

guaranteed drops per raider in 10-man: 3

guaranteed drops per raider in 25-man: 2.4

Then factor in the number of times loot has to be sharded because the appropriate class/spec is not represented (frequent in 10-man, rare in 25), and the gap narrows still further.
