25-man gear should not be better than 10-man gear

so I didn't read all of the comments, but I read several, so I apologize if I'm repeating something, but most of you are missing an important distinction. The OP never said that 10s and 25s should drop the same GEAR. He said they should drop the same ILVL gear. That would mean that some BIS gear would come from 10, and some from 25, but the gear would be good enough from either one to continue to the next tier.

The problem with this is that 10s and 25s are supposed to be independent raiding paths. The only way I can think of to preserve this is to resurrect attunements (I always kind of liked attunements anyway, because they set raiders apart).
