Tuesday Morning Post: Expedient & Emotional Edition
Here we are, my old friend. You and I, waiting for downtime again. Yeah, we got a little spot of downtime coming our way again. I'd recommend you go check out Vin Diesel in the latest installation of the greastest series of cinematic triumph of our time, Fast & Furious, but that isn't coming out until Friday. Also, I am a little hurt that it was not named 4 Fast 4 Furious, as would only be proper. Also, I stumbled across a pretty heinous spoiler on IMDB that may have ruined the movie for me. Get this. Are you ready? Here's the big reveal: It has an ampersand in the title.
Yeah. But anyway, it doesn't come out til Friday, so I suppose you'll have to satisfy yourself with WoW news.
As usual, you can get your WoW information fix here while you can't play. We got a new build fresh up on the PTR, so expect news from that and a wide variety of other good stuff. In addition, you'll probably want to check out what's been happening in the last few days. As usual, I got a few things you might want to take a look at after the break.

Dear God, just thinking of the trailer for that movie makes my brain HURT. The incredible amount of stupid packed into sixty seconds... and to think there's a whole movie of it. And someone paid to make it. And people will pay to see it.
It just makes me despair that people - whether the writers, producers, or moviegoers - have any intelligence whatsoever.
(This is what happens during downtime - I get bitter.)
Piklez Mar 31st 2009 2:46PM
dude. stupid movies rock.
Case in Point: 300
THE AWESOMEST BAD MOVIE EVER EVEN THOUGHT OF. EVEN IF YOU TRY TO IMAGINE SOMETHING, IT'S STILL MORE AWESOME THAN THAT.

Yeah, because spending your life pushing buttons to get make-belief items is a real grandiose existence. While his movies might be crap, he puts a pretty large chunk of the revenue made from those movies into his own gaming company, he was a hardcore D&D player, and he seems like a pretty decent dude in real life.
I just fail to see how a bunch of braindead McMMO fanatics can slag on anyone, anywhere, for anything. Seriously, go to chuck-e-cheese and play Whack-a-Mole for a bit...at least your fat-asses would get some exercise.

Is it just me or do the dumb action hero types seem like the only genuinely nice people in Hollywood? Vin Diesel, The Roc...err...Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham - they all seem like pleasant people in real life.
Riley Mar 31st 2009 4:19PM
Jason Statham doesn't just do dumb action movies (LS&2SB, Snatch, Revolver, The Italian Job)
but yeah, they do tend to be pretty nice guys
Theadrick Mar 31st 2009 1:22PM
Yea it seems like that... in interviews he seems like a great guy, but his movies are pretty much all pure crap.
Riley Mar 31st 2009 4:20PM
yeah, his movie career has gone downhill in the last few years
