They haven't been able to make Infinite Ammo work for some reason, last I heard, but they upped the stack sizes from like 200 to 1000 without changing the price.

I may be wrong, but that's the case at present last I checked.

It's only sort of changing. Ammo stacks in 1000 now instead of 200, and you don't get the haste bonus from pouches/quivers. So you'll still have to carry a stack or two with you, but you get another bag to put it and whatever else inside.

yea, its a nice change for sure having another bagslto is always a plus...

as for me on my hunter I'll keep my 28 slot Quiver and just keep 28,000 arrows, that way i can keep my good ammo for raids/arena and the white L75 for reg dailies/dungeons .. and probly some mimdgrade like KoT ones for general PVP

its a welcome change no matter how you figure it. another bag or just a boatload of ammo

It's not the full ammo change it's a temporary change where ammo is going in stacks of 1000 until they can finish with the change over to non-consumable.

Boo for no more quivers and ammo bags. Yes, I play a hunter. It just makes more sense to have a quiver, and I don't need the bag space that badly. Once again, Blizzard caves in to a bunch of easy-mode loving crybabies.

As Thyrial says, this is only a temporary change on the way to full implementation.

They said long ago the full implementation of the ammo changes wasn't going to be in 3.1

I try to avoid downtime whenever possible, so i figure 28k arrows and bam arrow buying down from 2 quiver fills a day to once a week hopefully.
