The Waltz(Slow Waltz or Vienesse Waltz) is a 3 step dance. Heigan's "Dance" is actually 3 step too.

zone 1-zone 2, zone 2-zone 3, zone 3-zone 4. That would be a 1 2 3. Followed by
zone 4-zone 3, zone 3-zone 2, zone 2-zone 1. that would be a 4 5 6

A waltz phrase(section of music that is relatively self contained and coherent over a medium time scale - wikipedia).

_x_ means that time has an accent. The 1 in each measure is counted as the measure number, instead of 1, to allow for parallel counting of the measures in a phrase.
