Around Azeroth: I'll send an SOS to the world
This may be another one of those things everyone knows about but me, but what the hey. While using Farsight to scan the highest peak north of Thunder Bluff, Eggers of Scilla discovered this message carved into mountaintop, presumably written by a Blizzard employee locked in the offices over a weekend. It's on the two-peaked mountain visible from the northern part of Thunder Bluff, and it's only about three chain Farsights away with your view distance turned up to maximum. Eggers even made a handy guide on how to see it, available to all and sundry on YouTube.
Do you have any unusual, clever, or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

It's real easy once you're higher level, cause the mana the spell takes is almost none. What you do is cast farsite somewhere, then while you're looking around, just click on the spell again, and click somewhere else to see there. As long as you farsight again before the timer runs out, you can keep going over and over.

Helps if you drop a Mana Spring totem too, with a high enough rank it'll regen your mana faster than chaining Far Sight drains it.

Actually I have seen this before and there is more to it. On a private server I would mess around on you can actually see a little camp up there that you can't see in the pic.

Looks like HELP again, this time placed backwards and viewed upside down.

This isn't a new find, Dopefish showed this in his Nogg-Aholic movie 3,5 years ago. -.-

It's new to pretty much everyone who's commented so far. Good enough for me. :)

I sent a shot of this about a year ago, but I just guessed it got lost int he clutter. On an opposite mountain near there is the same hill, but reversed. The "text" is backwards.

I posted this a couple of months ago.

On top of Ironforge there is some other mountains (probably two) with a Help sign similar to this one, and there is also a tent with a campfire there too, but no NPC there.

This was on WoWInsider a year ago, although then from the highest peak in Stonetalon Mountains:

Regardless, pretty fun. I love this kind of stuff.

Actually, come to think of it, it's probably the same peak considering the two zones are neighbors and the sshots look so darn alike...
