I have to say I am more interested now that I was.
I have to say though that I want a book about Kael Thas. I think too many characters have become maginalized.
KaelTHas is a joke in game. In Warcraft III frozen throne, Kael Thas is a noble guy that does the best he can for his people. In BC he becomes a crazy weirdo that becomes selfish and crazy. He turns into a looney.
Anuberak . . .. I mourn thee, he was another noble charcter that was basically forgotten in game. It seemed to me that Blizz forgot about him until they named the Boss in a 5 man that looks like Anuberak.
Back on book topic, I hope I pray that the Culling of Strat finally turns into what it is supposed to be.
Maybe I am evil and the sword in my hand is turning me moreso, besides affecting my typing, but since when did arthas do something evil?
I mean the whole thing in Warcraft 3 and in the COT:CoS. . . . . It STILL doesn't seem that way. He knew his people were going to turn into mindless zombies. In vampire movies a friend of the hero gets biten and says . . . "Kil me before I become one of them, please!!!"
In a movie with zombies. . . . one man gets left behind and his friend chokes on tears and headshots him to prevent him from becoming a zombie too. It is compassion in so many things that in our pop culture cause ppl to kill friends and family BEFORE they become something horrid or to prevent them from suffering.
Read the Blizz story leading to the first Naxx. . .it is on the website somewhere, it talks of Kel Thuzad and his initial rise to becoming a servant of the Lich King BEFORE Arthas. He talks of being made to watch a husband and wife prisoer in Naxx. They are huddled cold and alone in a cell, the wife looks very ill and is in pain, the husband conforts her, within minutes she dies. The husband sobs and mourns her for a few seconds, then she gets back up and acting very strangely advances on him, he is confused and, very Pet Cemetary, calls to her and she attacks him and then starts making soft cooing sounds as she eats him, then starts crying while doing it too. She is divided between her old self and her new ghoul self, unable to stop she kills her husband, but she is aware and knows what she did and is suffering from it.
Arthas prevented that times 10,000 @ CoS.
How can you prevent that and be a horrible evil douche because of it? That isn't Anakin going to the dark side and killing villiages full of tuskarr raiders.
Also how is Nerzhuul the ultimate evil jerk?
He was a nice god Shaman and leader of the Orcs on Draenor, he was bamboozled and mislead by the Burning legion with some backwards help from his #2 Guldan (who was an evil douche.) He became a warlock and did some messed up stuff like giving his ppl demon blood. Why on Azeroth is he bad? Orcs invaded through the portal, Nerzhuul didn;t like what was happeneind and tried to call the game on account of "Oh crap we're not evil people!!" and went hmoe to be killed and his soul enslaved to the demons.
Guldan was way more evil and selfish, Nerzhuul was a save soul that was forced to create the undead scourge on Azeroth in oder to cause confusion and allow the demons back in. Why the hell are the demons so bent on Azeroth anyway?
I mean Sargeras the head demon and ex-titan wants to unmake everything cause he is crazy and thinks the only sustainable order in the universe is chaos, but all his minime demons really want the sunwell or other founts of power. WOuldn;t Sargeras really just wanna destroy the Sunwell? Also the demons and Old GOds are vs each other when really Sargeras shoulda just let em loose. . .they were the ultimate agents of Chaos in Azeroth and if he let em loose they would do the Chaos thing for him?
Ok, now I am getting out of hand.
Arthas - when was he ever truly evil before he became the first DK2.0?
Nerzhuul - when was he truly evil before he became the first warlock?
Kael Thas - why was he made crazy and weird, and why did he forsake his own kingdom when all he did was for it?
Anuberak - why was he a tragic but kickass guy in Warcraft 3 just to become a guy most people don;t even know they killed (unless they need some of his Heroic loot)
Jaynitan- why did he write a book on a post about a book that has very littel to do with the book? I am not sure . . .
