Noblegarden tentatively rescheduled for April 26th
All of you achievement fiends better be prepared for the end of April through early May. It was reported earlier that Noblegarden was being delayed until patch 3.1 was ready, and we have a new date for it according to the latest PTR build. While it could change again, the current date listed for the holiday is April 26th and it will last until May 2nd. I warn you to be prepared because Children's Week begins (May 1st) before Noblegarden even ends (May 2nd), so you're going to be working on two sets of holiday achievements at the same time for that brief overlap period. Since Noblegarden's achievements are a part of What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been now, you'll have your work cut out for you for those two weeks.
Make sure you don't get too desperate, though. You could get yourself into some pretty serious trouble. Remember that the gals need to be 18 (levels) to Shake Their Bunny Maker for you. Also, I used that picture of the Paladin in a pink dress again because that guy is a friend of mine and I love making him cry.

I hope this means that 3.1 will come out on the 14th as predicted and Blizzard put this on the 26th to prevent too much content overflow.
And my male tauren in a pink dress >>>>>> that human! ;)

If you look at the achievements, only a couple of them have to be completed during the Noblegarden event. I am only able to confirm this from the PTR on Shake Their Bunny Maker achievement.
So, try to get as many of the items you can and if you don't get it from the eggs, buy them from the Noblegarden Vendor and complete it later.

So this and Arena announcement pretty much confirm a 3.1 launch date of either the 14th or 21st.
Firestride Apr 5th 2009 4:59PM
Logically, yes. Will I be particularly surprised if it doesn't happen before the 21st, though? Not at all.

Is that Criceto?

I cannot confirm this, but I also cannot deny it.

I was looking forward to this as the only holiday that was not required for the VPD. But I guess having more things to do on the lackluster holidays is worth it.

Oh well, no Violet Proto-Drake for me until May 2010 now... I'm off for a friends wedding from April 27th to May 6th, so going to miss both sets of achievements now.
It'll be just my luck that by the time May 2010 rolls around, Blizzard will remove the reward from "What a Long Strange Trip..." so they can keep the mount rare, or some such nonsense... grrr....
Buman Apr 5th 2009 7:53PM
Its actually more than likely they will add a protodrake that is much easier to attain by grinding rep or something.
Verit Apr 6th 2009 6:49AM
I predict they will remove the achievement from the game because they want these drakes to be rare.
supersaint Apr 6th 2009 3:03AM
I'm calling for the 14th.

Blizz please release 3.1 on the 21st.
The 14th collides with the Orthodox Easter and releasing it during a religious holiday of a part of the players would be partial as many wont be able to enjoy Ulduar.

Oh great, if this is released at that date, it will be stupid. Why? Because people will be RUSH grinding to get the one achievement done in a week's rush of time only to have another limited 1 week worth of time tagged onto the end of it. (I say tagged on, but technically Children's week was always planned for there.)
I hate having achievements rushed like this where you have to sit glued at your computer and not be able to do anything else. And yeah sure I could turn off the game, but that doesn't help me one bit if I'm aimming for the achievement.
Embalmo Apr 14th 2009 7:50PM
Oh my stars and garters, whine just a little bit more.
Want the achievement/mount? Put in the time. Can't put in the time? Too bad.

Pretty wierd they made the Blossoming Branch soulbound. When i finally arrived with my lvl39 warrior in Un'goro Crater's Hot Springs, I realised that there's absolutely no-one around there that can turn you into a rabbit so you can get the achievement...
please undo the soulbound on the blossoming branch, so you can trade it with someone else... so he or she can turn you into a rabbit....
