QuickArmory offers localization, boss tallying
Our friends over at QuickArmory, which is a site with a whole slew of extras for parsing and checking out Armory information, have sent along a list of updates to what they've done lately. The site itself is still pretty barebones (it focuses on getting information together fast rather than flashy graphics or layouts), but they've added new details to what you can see on a character view. In addition to the usual achievements, you can mouse over the title of each instance, and it will tell you how many times the character has killed each boss that's tracked in the game. And they've also added localization support -- next to the box where you put the character's name in, you can choose to see the site in English, German, French, Spanish, or Russian. Some of the achievements, we're told, aren't fully translated, but that's quite a feature on an "Armory lite" site.
QuickArmory isn't necessarily the most robust Armory site out there, but it's still really good at getting you lots of information on one character quickly. If you do a lot of Armory searching for PuGs or just like learning about the various characters on your server, it's definitely worth a bookmark.

Good, quick loading, but it needs work. It found the 25 Naxx upgrades to my current neck, but the best-in-slot is a reward from the Focusing Iris quest and the site apparently doesn't know that.

Out of all the "Light" Armory sites out there, display wise, this is the best. Its not the most attractive, though, that can be fixed.

This is by far the fastest and simplest armory lookup I've seen.
Does anyone have any examples of other armory lookup sites that compare?

I personally use wow-heroes.com , it has nearly all of the info you could want in a well laid out, easy to read format. And it loads updated armory info in a couple of seconds.

awesome thx for the tip! i do a little screening when i join a pug group (i'll be damned if i'm gonna get saved to a fail pug yet again), and the wowarmory page just takes so darn long. so when they invite me i start saying things like o hang on i'm having lag gimme a min or something stupid like that.
i will really like the instant lookup!
(what the hey? this tank is in dps greens. hmm...)

I particularly like the quick reference text added to each item to tell you where the item came from. Nice touch.

Odd, for my character, it shows the bosses/raid achievements I've done, but on a friend's, it shows battleground info instead?
