WoW Moviewatch: 28 Patches Later
Voodooray, the Boss of Boomkin, the Maestro of Moonfire, the OPest of Owls is back with his new feathered fury piece 28 Patches Later. The video is pretty brief, and absolutely fun to watch. The author says the video is the first part in a series, which makes this an awesome first hint.
To sum up, a white light chamber is used to create or summon the Moonkin horde. They slowly move across the country, tearing down planes, infiltrating boats, and even taking over the White House. Of course, the ineffable nature of the Moonkin makes it difficult to read what's happening. Are the invading druids benevolent? Maybe they're protecting us from something. Are they mindless, or are they operating on an agenda?
Okay, so you may or may not find great literature in "28 Patches Later." But the video is fun, and I think that's the point. I always love Voodooray's quirky obsession with his signature critter, and I think the surreality of Moonkin lends a lot of strength to this video.

Mike nice work ,but don't do a review in future until you "know what's going on" It's obvious, Boomkin are overpowered, they've taken over the world ,wiped out humanity . . . who will save us . . . but wait in a bunker, Blizzard still survives, and it's patch"nerf"day.

This is funny for about a minute and then kinda "huh" for the rest. I kept thinking something was gonna happen other than "lol - moonkins". It didnt.

This isn't the song that played in 28 days later. It might be from 28 weeks later though.
28 days later plays the song "East Hastings" by "Godspeed You Black Emperor" when the main character wakes up.

They do sound similar though.

Incorrect. Look the two songs up. :) I even found in my searching that "In a Heartbeat" is very often mistaken for "East Hastings."
I mean, I downloaded every single track that was listed on the soundtrack. "In a Heartbeat" was this song. "East Hastings" just outright wasn't. :) And it was definitely used in both Days and Weeks.

That was some really - great- editing. Must have taken a long, long time to get everything right but the editing, the shots, the cuts, perfect. I love the flight scene with the jets. That was awesome editing. The little details like the flight formed druids on the power line poles where masterfully done.

This is like part 1 of a series. It's not meant to be LOL-Funny-TheEnd. Learn to enjoy film that isn't spoon feeding you content for morons.

Methinks that the author of this has never seen 28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later
