The Daily Quest: Paladins, Rogues and Bank Alts, oh my!

- Honor's Code takes a look at how they'll be utilizing the dual spec system as a Protection Paladin in Ulduar and begins assembling a patch 3.1 talent build.
- Do you enjoy Buddhist's over-the-top PvP videos, such as Ming Must Die? RogueRogue.com is (probably) proud to present: Six Silent Shadows. Be warned, this video contains some vulgar language. Okay, maybe a lot of vulgar language. Consider it NSFW.
- With all the hoopla around the Blizzard Authenticator lately, you may be interested in The Stoppable Force's walkthrough of the activation process.
- Our own Paladins discussed which judgement does what, but Blessing of Kings tells you the who, when and why about optimizing judgements.
- Skrooge is on a quest: Make 25,000 gold in as little time as possible, using only the auction house. His quest began with only three things: Auctioneer Advanced, 100g, and a tuxedo.

The Blizzard Authenticator is something that every WoW player should have but the comment in "The Stoppable Force's" blog about how the Authenticator does not make you hack proof caught my eye.
How would someone hack your account if you had a Authenticator? You can't get access to the account at all since you need the Authenticator to access Battle.net and to access the game. The only thing I can think of is that someone would have to get control of your Blizzard Authenticator, your email account and know your Credit Card information and your home address.
I say, if someone has all of that on you, just give them your account and 'toon's and save yourself the headache.

I'm not a security expert but there are ways to get around RNG authenticators like Blizzard has without knowing all of a user's information. To my understanding such methods require a very high degree of technical skill and lots of resources to crunch ciphers and other codes.
To be clear, no system is 100% hack proof. The weak spot in the Blizzard system (along with many other systems) is the human component. So long as you are careful about what is installed on your PC and you don't openly share your account info you are more likely to be struck by lightning and win the lottery on the same day than to have your WoW account hacked.

How about you don't spend the money, don't spend the time looking up a password every time you want to log in, and just don't browse illegal sites?
People who get viruses and spyware apart from harmless adware, have done something wrong. Treat the internet like a hospital and don't take off your gloves.

It's funny how so many rogues roll UD when perception and every man for himself alone would make humans the superior rogues theoretically.
The rogue vid was cool, but at 30 mins long I can't lie and say that I watched it all, lol.

Again with people that refuse to just have paladins stack a judgment and as if the sky would fall over having JoJ overwritten for 8-9 seconds max.
Holy doesn't and really shouldn't judge more than once a minute. A prot paladin judges every 9 seconds. This isn't going to kill the tank. Just let em judge wisdom, the paladin will overwrite soon enough.
If you are that worried about it, holy judges light. The ret paladin will have the better one up in less than 8 seconds. A good prot paladin will also have HotC and so nothing will be lost except a small bit of healing from light. yipee. Not exactly a wipe situation.

If all you do is play WoW on your PC, you're fine. If you read WoW websites or play with addons, you've been exposed. I picked up a keylogger once because I hadn't fully patched Firefox. Since then, I swear by the authenticators. Blizzard should just throw them in the retail box with the next expansion.
