Blizzard's Arthas: Rise of the Lich King quiz contest

Blizzard announced a brand new contest yesterday, and it's quite possibly their most simple contest yet. Read an excerpt from Arthas: Rise of the Lich King, answer three questions about what you read to enter the contest, and then you're given a chance to win a collector's edition of the Arthas novel. Pretty sweet and, as I said, really easy to enter.Blizzard's official contest isn't the only one running, either. Fan sites around the blogosphere (good gosh I hate that term) are giving them away like crazy, and we even have a nice stack of our own that we'll be giving away soon. Keep an eye out, and seriously- enter these contests, whether it's ours or Blizzard's or someone else's contest. This book is worth the effort, and the collector's edition is pretty classy. Remember, this is coming from someone who thinks many of the Warcraft novels are pretty terrible.

This seems kinda silly if you ask me. Read the book to get another copy of the same book, only shinier? Meh. Maybe since I preordered the regular already, I'll sign up and if I win, simply sell the special edition on Ebay.

I am really liking the contest, but feel free not to enter, better chances for the rest of us *grin* I would love to get one of those collector copies, and will definitely be seeing if I can buy one like that in store.

I'm not sure this is as simple as you say. The reading comprehension level of most WoW players seems to be pretty low, judging by all the people who seem unable to read or understand quest text, so this may be quite the challenge. Not to mention that the excerpt is more than two sentences long, placing it firmly in TLDR territory.

Read the excerpt... too much romance in it for me. Though it was interesting going back to the earlier time and seeing some lore. Still had trouble on question 3 though, it wasn't as direct as the other two.

I like reading, but I hate reading on a computer, so I ctr f'd all teh relevant information.
I'll save the reading for when I get the book, be it through this contest or by actually buying it.

Why do contests such as this ONLY count toward US???
And there's even an announcement on official WoW EU site with link to it and it's still US!!
