Yesteday on the EU PTR the Northrend server crashed, and the whole server has been restarted at least twice in a couple of hours.
The last time I saw the PTR so instable was on 3.0.8 that introduced huge lag, crashes and several bugs on live and needed hot fixes and another patch a week later (3.0.8a).
So, if 3.1 goes live as it is now, expect to not be actually able to play until blizzard release a 3.1a.
