Around Azeroth: Alternaverse
Ever feel like you're being stalked by an NPC? In Wrath of the Lich King, it seems like Arthas is everywhere. Ebon Hold, Voltarus, Gjalerbron and of course Icecrown -- the dude's more pervasive than death knight/paladin arena teams. You can't even escape from him in an alternate dimension, as Manatee of <Adaptation> on Arathor recently discovered. Arthas followed her into the world of shadows (available in the Horde quest The Power to Destroy) and taunted her with the pointlessness of her existence. Stay in your own universe and stop interrupting our questing, freakazoid!
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

Arthas there is a difference between searching for your chosen harbinger of death to all of azeroth and stalking... the court order says ONE ZONE.
Tbh though I've never seen this quest, I should go ahead and level my tankadin.

I ofund htis true with my hunter, now 80, while questing in Howling Frjord. I was surprised, last night, that I had the same whisper with my level 68 paladin. It was in the Howling Fjord area, as well.

If you were anywhere in this area: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=23967
That wasn't the Lich King whispering to you, and it's very specific to that small canyon. There's a reason those mobs there are Deranged.

I love the Alliance version of this quest. Much more lore-filled.
