The Queue: Save me Jebus!

Oh, why did I teach him that word?
Ghola asked...
"About that Argent Tournament - any idea if that area will be a Sanctuary? I play on a PvP server and I imagine it will be Wintergrasp 2.0 for the first few weeks after 3.1 if PvP is allowed there..."
The Argent Tournament is a sanctuary on the PTR. And I imagine this will carry over into live.
Kinger asked...
"I was wondering why the vendors sell white items? Who buys them? If the answer is "just for the flavor of the game", then couldn't they sell the materials to make items they have in their store? Say maybe some ore, gems and other mats to make a sword or some armor? Maybe they could even sell an epic or a rare every once in a while on a RNG. It just seems strange that they sell stuff that is basically useless."
I've used those white level items to level up my enchanting. I know several other folks do that as well. There are also several that can be used in RP outfits and what not, if you're into that sort of thing.
Sean asked...
"Once a patch has been installed, is there any need for me to keep the patch downloads on my hard drive? I would like to burn the whole lot to a CD or external drive to free up some space."
Nope. Go ahead and burn them and keep them as backup in case you need them someday.
F. Somalia asked...
"Will there be some noticeable changes on 5-men dungeons with patch 3.1?"
Not really. Class changes will perhaps make running them a little different at first, but nothing major in terms of design or content.
F. Somalia comes in with a second question...
"How can scribes learn new Glyphs when 3.1 hits? Via research, daily quest, trainer, recipe vendor, drop?"
Northrend Inscription Research and through Books of Glyph Mastery.
Auraka asked...
"I don't know if this has been asked yet or not but I wanted to know if the Argent Tournament quests will count for the Ice Crown 140 quest achievement?"
I really really hope so. If someone has a definitive answer to this I'd appreciate it if they could leave a comment with their observations. I will say however that it should. The quests are in the zone, and there are several non-daily quests to complete. Right now I'm at 131/140 for the achievement and all I have left are phased group quests or group quests at the very end of extremely long chains. I'll be quite happy when 3.1 releases and I can get the achievement easily.
Nick asked....
"Do you like fishsticks?"
Yes.

Jebus? Thats really cool there bud. Go with the flow. Do Allah next! (Your title is offensive to me)
On the internet, everyone is an athiest and a liberal, because even if you aren't, you pretend to be or you get the **** flamed out of you.
AyaJulia Apr 13th 2009 4:39PM
....it's a Simpsons reference. Thus the picture of Homer's brain?
Honestly, people look for things to be offended by anymore.
Dakira Apr 13th 2009 4:40PM
You're offended? Gosh, that's terrible.
DLX Apr 14th 2009 1:54AM
Your comment is offensive to me.
Also, it is spelled "atheist". Yes, we can see the negative correlation between IQ and religious beliefs even here...
xavierlives Apr 13th 2009 4:42PM
Is this your first viewing of the Simpsons? They are patently offensive.
Adam Holisky Apr 13th 2009 4:43PM
My thought process went like this:
Sanctuary question regard the argent tournament.
I saw this Simpsons episode where Homer runs into the church yelling "Sanctuary! Sanctuary! Save me Jebus!"
I put it as the title and put textual reference along with a picture on the front of the post.
How this offended you, I have no idea.
But if you are offended by the Simpsons, I suggest you check out any number of religious scholars who cite the Simpsons as one of the best TV shows that teach good values and solid morality.
Jesse Apr 13th 2009 4:45PM
First, it's a Simpsons reference, get over yourself.
Second, are you really complaining that, as a Christian, you are persecuted currently? Seriously? We're in charge of everything... Heck, you have to pretend to be Christian to be president in the US, a country founded on the principle of religious freedom (but apparently not tolerance)
I'm Catholic, and go to mass weekly. I point this out, because apparently, since I'm not an Atheist, I'm not on the internet.
If this is truly offensive to you, you must be pretty insecure in your relationship with God...
On the other hand, at least you didn't start off by saying "First post"
I'll pray for God to reassure you in your faith tonight, Ruz.

Ease up buddy, its a Simpsons quote.
Don't throw a hissy fit and take life and your religion less seriously. No one like religious fanatics. They are scare people and tend to be party bummers.
Kakistocracy Apr 13th 2009 4:56PM
Victor Hugo would have been a vastly superior allusion (although this is the internet, so a reference would be better I suppose).
I'm fairly sure you could find "scholars" and "experts" within pretty much any field or group who will say pretty much anything. One could (though I won't) say Ahmadinejad is an expert on his neighbors and their tactics and yet, despite Avigdor Lieberman's objectives supporting Ahmadinejad's allegations of sneakiness, I won't believe everything he says while touring colleges.
el ranchero Apr 13th 2009 4:58PM
Yeah, it's too bad Christian conservatives are so persecuted these days. Take heart, though. I mean who knows, maybe someday one will be elected to Congress, or even the presidency!
Caiginn Apr 13th 2009 4:59PM
Stirs-up-trouble troll is.... successful.
Todd Apr 13th 2009 5:02PM
Hah hah hah. Obviously you are not a Simpsons fan. I find that offensive. Each to his own, but you must realize, referencing a TV show and then getting upset about it... pure fail.
Shrike Apr 13th 2009 5:23PM
I know it's likely IHBT, but... The internet is packed with people of all political and religious persuasions. There are easily as many die-hard conservative and Christian blogs and boards just as hostile to anyone expressing contrasting views as there are liberal and atheist. Saying otherwise is disingenuous as best, and flat-out lying at worst.

"On the internet, everyone is an athiest and a liberal"
if only it were true Ruz, if only it were true.
Ancro Apr 13th 2009 5:34PM
As an agnostic and a liberal, I find your comment offensive. So, now where are we?

Come on people, at least he didn't say First. :) Voted him up just for that.
Kakistocracy Apr 13th 2009 5:49PM
Yeah, besides, voting something down that you reply to is a bit like poking your inflamed appendix, when if bursts, it's just going to spew the posts, infecting the rest of the article with discontextualized comments.
Also, aren't we a bit old to be trying to drowned out those with whom we disagree? Don't bother to reply, I can't hear you, Laa La laaaaa!
RodDawg Apr 13th 2009 6:02PM
Well, you definitely got the flame part right. It's tough finding the right crowd who will simply respect differences and actually mind what they say around you (Props to my guild for that).
In this case, understandable to the devout, it can be rather offensive, on the other side of it though, this is the world we live in, and there are times when mentioning the offense simply isn't worth it.
U Digg?
Endeverooo Apr 13th 2009 6:50PM
So the OP is not allowed to express himself? From what I can tell everyone after the OP has expressed the way they feel. Whether you realize it or not "Jebus" is/can be offensive. Its a play on Jesus, as I'm sure you all know :p, and most people who believe in Jesus think kidding about him is insulting. I can understand why Alex put the title but his response was condescending when it seems like you aren't even considering the OP's feeling. I dunno, I got over it I guess.
