The Argent Tournament Dailies thus far

The guides we have completed are...
- Jack Me Some Lumber
- A Chip Off The Ulduar Block
- Learning The Reins
- A Valiant's Field Training
- The Edge of Winter
Take note that many of the pictures taken in these articles came from the PTR. While the mechanics we describe in the guides are the ones that were eventually finalized, the pictures are a little outdated as far as artwork. Just be aware that when we show tooltips, the art on abilities may not be identical to yours, but those buttons will do all the same things we describe.
If you want to keep up with the new guides we add to this list, there are a few easy ways to do that. Do you see that little banner we have on the right side of the screen? If you're reading this from our mobile site, probably not. Otherwise, you do! Bookmark that page, all of our Argent Tournament information will be linked there shortly after we post it, and it will always be there. If you want our daily guides specifically, bookmark the page for our Argent Tournament Dailies tag.
Patch 3.1 is live and it takes us into Ulduar, delivers us dual specs, and brings significant changes to all the classes! We've got you covered from top to bottom with our Guide to Patch 3.1 and the official patch notes!

Looks pretty meh... lvl 200 weapons why even bother? for a banner or a pet that does nothing? Maybe if this was availble when wolk released it would be worth doing but I don't see my self wanting to do another gimicky mount daily.

I'm doing it for the gold.. It is a huge concentration of dailies (like the Sunwell area was), so it will be super easy.

I doubt Blizzard was under any delusion that their new event would appeal to every single player. There are plenty of us who are happy about the possibility of five more mounts and ten more pets.

its more for the casual/solo players to get good weapons, or possibly if you hit 80 on an alt and don't wanna raid you can make gold while working toward a decent weapon or two.
are raiders excited... not really
are the good pvp players who already have better weapons excited ;) no really
are the casuals - you better believe it...
besides from what I read the combat of it sounds kind of fun I wanna try it just cause it looks like i may enjoy the minigame for its own sake

@smiley: Uh, you do realize that raiders don't spend every waking minute on WoW inside raid instances, right? And that more than a few of us have been wanting a more Quel'Danas-style circuit of dailies to earn money for consumables, repair bills, etc? And that some of us are achievement whores/want the dragonhawk mount/special pet like everyone else? And that those of us who raid on RP servers love shiny things to put on our toons?
And that the Argent Tournament is good for all of the above?
Signed,
A member of a successful raiding guild that is looking forward to the AT as much as Ulduar.

Looking at the quests on Wowhead, under difficulty, level 1 is red. Is that to say one could theoretically pick them up at level 1? O:

I was a PTR tester and I was very interested in that screen shot, I never saw any of the new quests relate to that spot. I was curious is it just a decortive location, (a sword stuck in the ice) or will it serve a purpose.
Also curious how long till the actual clossium is completed or will it always be in a state of building, the past has shown other wise : )

It'll be completed in 3.2.

I've been thinking about the Argent Tournament and something seems off. It's set up in Icecrown, basically as a big old "up yours" to The Lich King. It would be strange for him to just completely ignore the Tournament. Particularly since one of the Dailies listed involves slaughtering his servants.
It isn't completed in Patch 3.1, but will be in 3.2. At that point it seems odd to just forget about it. It's strange that they'd include content for it on the first two patches of the expansion, but ignore it on the third.
Since Icecrown Citadel's raid is supposed to be included in 3.3, I wonder what they would do with the Tournament in that patch. Perhaps the Scourge will invade the tournament area? Defense of the Argent Crusade's position there could be a fun world event to lead into opening up Icecrown Citadel.
That's just me thinking about stuff we know nothing about though. A little speculation for fun.

I decided to be cool and log my character out right where the Argent Tourney is supposed to be...hopefully it's not a repeat of the "Let's log our characters out in Naxxramas before the expansion!" incidents. :P

I logged out inside where the king's throne would be in Stormwind the day before WotLK launched and had to hearth out. :)
