it did ramp up the difficulty... by leaps and bounds, but most of the hardcoe guild were on the test realms learning the figts and geting thier strategies for the bosses down befre 3.1 even came out...
plus you're talkign abotu groups of the best players in the world. take the best player in your guild on thier best day and they still probly wouldn't be playing on one of these players lvls on thier worst day.

Yeah. It CLEARLY ramped up in difficulty if somebody already cleared it in 1 day.
:-\
The only reason I see for trash wipes and what not is because people become autonomous after doing naxx for the last few months, instead of staying sharp.

They haven't taken out Algalon yet, plus those were all attemps without the Hard modes.
But I do sort of agree that if they took out Yogg Saron in less than 24 hours even on the normal mode, then it does seem a bit easy.

It DID ramp up the difficulty. Most guilds are wiping on the second boss, everyone's struggling, and only the best guilds are clearing Ulduar to any significant degree yet.
But Ulduar isn't impossible. It was designed to be beaten, and a guild in all the best pre-Ulduar gear with all the best players wasn't liable to be STOPPED by the easy modes of bosses, especially since they were almost all already beaten on test realms (by the same guilds getting world firsts, no less).
If the best players, in gear that's at least competitive, were NOT able to beat the easy modes of bosses they already knew the strategy to and had fought before, that would indicate a significant problem in Blizzard's design.
As it is, all we know is that the new raid isn't at an improper difficulty.

Correction: few guilds are clearing Ulduar to any degree at all since the instance servers are still screwed up on a lot of realms making any serious attempts nearly impossible.

I havent seen ulduar yet but from what i hear everyone is saying that it is alot harder .... not impossible they never said it was going to be very tough on normal mode .... just harder, however i think hard mode this time around will be much much much tougher for end game guild.
Oh and btw for those of you who dont know who Ensidia are they are the result of the 2 best european guilds (nihilum and sk gaming) merging just remember that, there were normally the only 2 guilds that fought each other for worlds firsts in tbc if i remember correctly (americans might have got a few cant really remember).
If anyone is going to get world firsts my bet is on these guys.

Protip: Normal modes aren't supposed to be hard.
That's what hard mode is for. Hence the name: hard mode.
/facepalm.

Any content which is too hard for the best guild in the world to clear in a day, will be too hard for the vast majority of guilds to clear EVER.
That's why Ensidia cleared this in a day.
