TalentChic updates for patch 3.1, introduces GlyphChic

TalentChic won't be incredibly accurate for another few days considering the patch only hit two days ago, but it's pretty fun to see what the current most popular builds are. An Elemental Shaman build (57/14/0) seems to be the most popular spec overall right now, which is odd because Elemental glyphs aren't even the most popular Shaman glyphs right now, let alone overall most popular. Glyph of Chain Heal and Glyph of Water Mastery (which would be used by Elemental, I suppose) are tops for Shaman.
Overall, a few Paladin glyphs are rocking the glyph charts. Glyph of Holy Light and Glyph of Judgement are holding the top two spot for Major glyphs. I can't say I'm surprised by either of those. Glyph of Holy Light is absolutely incredible for Holy Paladins, and I'm not sure I've met a Retribution Paladin that didn't have Glyph of Judgement. It's a popular Protection glyph, too.
Again, these might not be completely accurate right away, it's going to take a few more days for everything to fall into place, but it's a start. If you're looking for a spec, TalentChic is still a good place to go, and GlyphChic should be faaan-tastic. There's just not as much data to work with now as there will be very soon.

If a resto shaman doesn't have the glyph of CH put them on ignore and get them very far way from you. No matter what healing role they have.

The chainheal glyph is pretty much useless. The amount of healing the 4th target is getting is negligible at best. I will be swapping mine for the new Earthsheild glyph when I can find one.

Put me on ignore then. Oh, and also tell my guild. Well, I cleared everything with them without that glyph, but obviously we have done it wrong!

While that glyph is nice it's not really a clutch one. The extra healing is nice, and before 3.1 our only other option besides the CH one was the Mana Tide one and that one isn't all that important either but still nice. CH glyph will make those pretty green numbers light up all over the place and boost those healing meters but having the extra little heal usually wont do anything to save a person. It just helps heal up some splash over damage.

it doesn't surprise me that ele shamen is the mos tpopular build atm. most enhanc shamens i knwo went ele/enhance, most resto went ele/resto to use thier same gear. and most ele went pvp ele pve ele >_<
that simply from being on the shaman forums and wha tI hear people saying :D
my ele shaman will be ele pvp resto pve (eh doesn't pve much alt)

The reason why the most popular spec is elemental is because most resto shaman chose elemental as their secondary spec.
And the reason why elemental glyphs are not as popular is because so many people want them that they get snagged up as soon as they become avalible. Most servers AH either doesn't have any elemental glphys or if they do, they cost an arm and a leg to get so they just leave their secondary spec un glyphed for the moment, waiting for cheaper glyphs to show up.

What I find humorous is that the most popular builds listed on the site are usually the worst builds to have.
So many players are playing bad builds.

It's called talentCHIC not talentGOOD or talentSMART.
Paris Hilton is CHIC. Hawkings is SMART.

This was listed as one of the top Prot Paladin specs: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sZEGtArugGsIufd
0/71/0, all points in every Prot talent. What kind of spec is that?

I wish we could look at the top glyphs per spec, because hybrids may have very different rankings for their glyphs. The 40/31 demo warlock, for example, is a popular build that can't use felguard. The glyph for felguards is at or near the top of the list for demo locks, though. Sure, the general ranking of glyphs will change some over the next few days, but it'll still be a problem.
