Vodka gets North American first Yogg-Saron kill

I cropped the screenshot above which was submitted to me via an anonymous tipster to hide any glimpse of Yogg-Saron, so we don't spoil the show for those who care about that sort of thing. Update: Those reports are definitely confirmed, Vodka's guild website has additional screenshots.

Its the US first. Ensidia did the world first on Yogg-Saron almost a day after Ulduar was released.

This is only because Laughing Skull has been too unstable for Deus Vox to get any serious raiding in. The hard mode achievements reveal more than easy mode world firsts.

I dont think they are trying to reveal anything... They just want the firsts. I'm sure if you had a chance to get a first kill and a title, you would take it over standing on the first boss for hours trying to do hard mode.
Sen'Jin was down most of the night last night, but im not blaming that on the reason to why Premonition didnt get it....although they did have many of the firsts :p

Vodka was badly delayed, too - their server was among the last of US servers to come up on the day.
I agree - world firsts on normal mode bosses are more about server availability than they should be, this time around. Hard mode bosses will give us a more accurate picture of who's who.

It's got nothing to do with jealousy. It's fact. Deus Vox historically lands all worthwhile US firsts (usually with a raid of only 22-23). Laughing Skull was not even playable until Thursday and they are still only a few bosses away from clearing.

I was running Ulduar on the same server when they downed him. About 5 minutes of "gratz" in general chat. I, for one, think it's pretty cool to have run with some of them before.
