Vodka gets North American first Yogg-Saron kill

We're getting reports in of Vodka scoring the first Yogg-Saron kill on North American realms. Vodka had been one of the top guilds in the US throughout Tier 7 raiding, and are quickly solidifying their position at #1 (#2 in the world.) That leaves Algalon as the final boss left to down in Ulduar, along with almost all of the hard modes. Yogg-Saron isn't the end of the race, not nearly. Ensidia and Vodka have a lot more work ahead of them to win this thing. The loot consisted of...

I cropped the screenshot above which was submitted to me via an anonymous tipster to hide any glimpse of Yogg-Saron, so we don't spoil the show for those who care about that sort of thing. Update: Those reports are definitely confirmed, Vodka's guild website has additional screenshots.

Perhaps if "World/Realm First's" were only winnable by players who were NOT in the PTR (farming the run like mad for weeks so they can finish it in 15min flat when it goes live), then maybe I'd have respect for the "achievement".

I would be careful to claim them as #2, Inner Sanctum are currently working through on hard modes (who have been ranked #2 for some time), so by the end of the week they may be the only guild that can try Alagon...and well if they kill him...?

All due respect to vodka, but is this really news? They are the second guild to do this without hard mode... it is sounding less impressive as that sentence goes on.

Of course I could be biased because I play Horde on their server and we rarely win WG...

Alex... Please find out what UI he is using. I am using nUI and I love it because it is nice and clean, but this one takes the cake!!

Even though i'm of the opposite faction, knowing i Play on the same server as them and occasionally pvp with them even I feel honored that our server got US first. and for anyone complaining about server stability and shit I have one thing to say.

You can suck it! Our server has been so fucken unstable since even before patch day! For fucks sake we're always requiring extra maintenance and the past few days were no exception to that. Even running the new vault became tedious with server restarts.

But once again, grats vodka!
