I personally *love* the barrens. Something about it really clicked with me both times I rolled an Orc character. Its something about the music and the wide open plains, and the real feeling that you are a newcomer trying to make his way in untamed land. For my Shaman, this was the perfect environment to get in touch with nature and the earth.
