This cake runs WoW

We've seen some awesome Warcraft-related cakes before, but this one is probably the most literal we've come across -- it's an actual representation of a laptop, complete with what looks like a to-scale keyboard, and little letters etched on the keys. Sure, it's a little more pillowy and frosted than your average MacBook, but that edible paper screenshot does look really cool. And before someone in the comments asks: what addon is that around the ability buttons?

As tomorrow is my B-day, I would love a WoW themed cake.
But it ain't gonna happen so /shrug. :-)
Great concept cake. And, yes, you play TO MUCH WoW if you wonder which mod is depicted in the screen shot. :-D

Great cake! One geeky question...
The screen is printed on edible paper - is it using normal ink? I'm sure it is and I wouldn't fancy eating a sheet's worth of ink.

Why are you sure it is?
Education time! Edible paper works on normal printers, not all, but some. To print on edible paper you use cartridges filled with food colouring, not normal ink.
So I am pretty sure it isn't :)

@ Sarah - I believe Aggrajag is basing their assumption on their doubt that food colouring could print an image so accurately.
I personally don't know how food colouring works but i'd be suprised if you can simply run it through a printer so easily, standard inks aren't particularly easy to control on their own.
I could be wrong though, it's not an area of printing i often delve into, it's also hard to tell from the quality of the image how well printed the screenshot is.

Yes, the inks are normally fully edible, though I suppose there's no way to be sure if the people here actually bought a cartridge and cleaned out their printer properly before printing.
If they didn't then, yeah I wouldn't advise eating it.
However, in terms of quality, I have seen similar results from local bakeries here, so I can imagine somebody else doing it.

No no, the quality can be as it is in the above screenshot. Even if you do it on your epson photo printer thing and just change cartridges. Just have to clean it properly first.

Don't knwo what the author is talking about - Looks like a totally standard wow-interface. What we can see is the extra actionbar you can enable and the list of the paladin's auras. Nothing special about it
