Saronite bombs are off gcd and instant, meaning you can use one each minute inbetween two casts for an average of 22.1 dps + crits, increasing by 100% per each additional target.

With Box of Bombs, you can create from 25 to nearly 40 bombs with a reasonable cost.

Engineering is not bad, it's just not as passive as the others.
