Around Azeroth: A shocking development
High on my personal list of pain-in-the-ass mobs lies the Umbrafen Eel, which combines a low quest item drop rate with a highly unpleasant shock when you try to hit it in melee. (Other mobs on the list include Kurzen Medicine Men, pre-nerf Defias Pillagers, and any member of the murloc family with the inclination to run towards three more of its confederates when at 20% health. You're all on notice!) Many players have had similar bad experiences and avoid the eels on alts, but new death knight Iamsparta of Stormscale jumped into the fight without hesitation and received an electrifying lesson. Some things you can only learn through experience.
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

The eels aren't that annoying.
But I'll agree with murlocs and medicine men (even though I've hardly played Alliance compared with what I have played on Horde).
And a bit offtopic.............
You should link thottbot for stuff like this, since Thottbot was there since the start of vanilla and in general contains more QQ (while no doubt Wowhead is progression in terms of WoW databases, overall I feel Thottbot was more important and a bigger step... nothing beats being a n00bie and finding out about thottbot early-wow [and see all the spam with others not knowing what to do, and of course thottbot is where to go for a more urban answer that you won't find on wowhead]... And yes, I did use wowhead for pretty much all of TBC where I had lots of friends and did lots of raiding, so it isn't fully nostalgia).

Thotbot still has some good comments. I always start with wowhead and move to thot if I don't find enough discussion (usually when questioning talents).

Ya of course, thottbot is always a good second option, and like I noted, his more urban answers which may be better depending on the situation. (e.g. like exploits with a quest or item you can take advantage of, lol)
I will always think of Thottbot as the better database even though it isn't as good as Wowhead now days.

You think those Eels are buggers, head west a bit and frolic in the water with the Mirefin Frenzies:)

Sure you can complain about the low drop rate until you realize you're a DK and can prolly kill about 10 of em at once.

My vote still goes to Blazerunner in Ungoro crater at the end of the Linken quest chain...crazy knockback on every hit throwing you off the cliff repeatedly, usually into a pile of his freinds down on the level below.
