First day for Champions in the Argent Tournament
How you uh, how you comin' on that Argent Tournament you're working on? Huh? Got a big, uh, big stack of Valiant's Seals there? Gotta, gotta nice little title you're working on there? Your big achievement you've been working on for one week? Huh? Gotta, gotta compelling lance? Well, if you have been working on the Argent Tournament dailies since Tuesday's release of patch 3.1 then you're set to become some of the first Champions today, earning your home city's achievement.
After you finish off the five dailies today, you'll need to go through a couple more quests. The first is The Valiant's Challenge, where you have to go and challenge a rider via Squire Danny. After that you'll want to go and complete A Champion Rises to get an Argent Squire or Argent Gruntling pet (pictured above) and 10 Champion's Seals.
Once you're done with that, the next step is to begin the dailies, which will allow you to begin stacking up on more Champion's Seals for things like Tabards, Pets, and Mounts. Of course the other thing you can do is repeat the The Valliant's Charge line of dailies to earn the right to represent other factions in the Tournament.
The four daily quests which you can obtain Champion's Seals are listed below.
- Threat From Above (WoWWiki | WoWHead)
- Taking Battle To The Enemy (WoWWiki | WoWHead)
- Battle Before The Citadel (WoWWiki | WoWHead)
- Among the Champions (WoWWiki | WoWHead)
You'll also be able to complete the Black Knight quest line and earn the most execellently named achievement It's Just A Flesh Wound.
The other bonus today will be if you're exalted with your race's faction already. You'll automatically earn the Exalted Champion of BlahBlahBlah once you get Champion of BlahBlahBlah. I'm an Alliance Shaman, so I'll earn Champion of the Exodar and Exalted Champion of the Exodar today. And everyone will see me walking about with the title "Adam'sAwesomeShaman of the Exodar" before I get tired of it.

How many Champion Seals can you earn in a single day?
klink-o Apr 20th 2009 9:11AM
Five.
Yes, this is going to take a while.

I actually got champion yesterday, the day of the patch the server crashed a few times, the first time it did, it reset the dailies so I was able to run them twice.

One question:
"Once you're done with that, the next step is to begin the dailies, which will allow you to begin stacking up on more Champion's Seals for things like Tabards, Pets, and Mounts. Of course the other thing you can do is repeat the The Valliant's Charge line of dailies to earn the right to represent other factions in the Tournament."
can you do both at the same time? Or is it: Earning Champion's Seals OR get Champion of another faction?

I am interested in this to. I want all the achievements but also the seals... if its one or the other guess I've got 5 more weeks before I can start stocking up on seals.
Also if you change factions, upon reaching the Champion level do you get another quest to get 10 Champion seals? Or is it one time only total?

Great question! I'd like to know, too. I'd imagine you get to do one or the other.

I just got Champion this morning, and unfortunately it seems like you cannot do the champion and valiant dailies at the same time. So you have to choose between gaining faction rep or earning champion seals for rewards.

I became a Champion of Silvermoon last night, then started with Orgrimmar. Apparently the Orgrimmar weapon daily was different than the Silvermoon one was, so I was able to do that as well and get 2 more valiant seals from that.
Additionally I was able to get my 5 champion seals, so I'm 99% sure you'll be able to do both valiant and champion dalies at the same time, which will overlap very nicely!

the first day that you get champion you won't be able to do your second cities valiant's quest's, because you already complete'd them for your home city that day (if however the "go get me an awesome sword" quest is different for your second city than it was for your home city that day you will be able to complete that one). the next day you should be able to do the champion's dalies, along with the valiant dalies for your second city.

I've missed afew days :(
Won't be a champion for afew days.
Of Darnassus or Of the frozen wastes.
Not sure which is better..

Thanks to the server restarts suffered on mine one of my guildies got the Champion title last week. Blizzard contacted him last night about it though, didnt suspend him as he's a long time player and let him keep the title and the pet, but took his seals and the epic 2h off him. I thought that was a bit harsh. Hey, if they hadnt messed up so bad they had to restart the server 4 or 5 times in the space of 3 hours then he wouldnt have been able to do several days worth of dailies in one day.

From what i have heard, you can only be champion of one city at a time.
So either grind 5 Seals a Day with your current city, or change the city. And be 5 days further away from grinding (or 20 days for doing every city.)
The 1st mount will take you 38 days to get anyway ;)
