Maintenance for Tuesday April 21st

The opening announcement in-game tells us that there will be maintenance tomorrow from 3:00 a.m. PDT / 6:00 a.m. EDT until 11:00 a.m. PDT / 2:00 p.m. EDT. Hopefully this downtime won't be a repeat of the patch 3.1 downtime we saw last week where the servers were offline for most of the day and evening.There is a lot of recent announcements about events happening in the game in the near future. There will be a talent reset accompanying a client-side patch soon, a long list of in-game fixes, and the likely start of season six.
If there is a patch tomorrow, we'll keep you updated on the site with the latest.

I *knew* I should have logged in before work this morning.. curse you snooze button!!! Does anyone know about how long its taking to download the patch? If it isn't too long, I can wait till this evening. Didn't know if it was worth the effort of calling my room mate and walking him through the agonizing process of :
"now click the 'W' at the bottom."
"I don't see a 'W' at the bottom.. oh, I see it.. ok.. now what?"

It's a tiny patch. Takes longer to install than to download. At least on my slow(ish) cable...

LOL, maintenance extended another two hours. And here, in a fight of optimism, I logged on to see if perhaps they finished maintenance on time for the first time in months since I had a few hours in the middle of the day to kill. I really think Blizzard should buy a new "estimated maintenance time" calculator. The current one always fails.

Blizz should extend their estimated time by 2 hrs. That way if things go well, they get people cheering them for bringing it up early instead of pissing people off.
And if it *really* screws up, it's not "late" by as much as it was before...
