Sure 6€ is not much, but when I looked to buy one, the 9€ of shipping stopped me immediately.

It cost me an arm and a leg to get mine shipped to Canada, more than twice the cost of the thing, but I decided I'd rather pay it than have to worry about being hacked. Then there's dealing with Blizzard to get your account fixed...

I don't know if I like the pictures on this one.

My authenticator (the one I used till a few days ago) just went dead from one day to the other.
Fortunately I had bought 2 back when I ordered that one.
Having the Authenticator removed was pretty easy and, more importantly fast.
I already got hacked once and got lucky in that recovering my stuff, proving it was a hack etc. went pretty damn fast. But I also heard a lot about other players who got hacked having to wait weekS before everything was back to normal.
So I cranked out the money for another authenticator+shipping again because I'd rather be safe, secure and maybe have to wait one or two days rather than lacking that one security layer that is the authenticator and maybe waiting weeks if I got hacked again.
Banks around the world use this model of security token afaik, if anyone could hack that thing I guess they'd rather hack banks for some serious money than some WoW account.

When we ordered these babies, we collected 4 more people, ordered 5, and shared the shipping fee, it was not a big deal that way.

They should have just put these in the box together with the wotlk xpac.
If you follow the simple rules of WOW-security (like: install anti-virus and firewall, don't trust sent links, a wow-employee will never ask you acountinfo, don't buy gold or leveling, ...), it should be nearly impossible to get hacked.
If you use a password of over 12 characters, the guessing game becomes realy hard too (who can guess a R0fLCOpt3rRuLz account with a mYlittL3Pwny password*)
And use your login(s) at only one location or website, I'm axolotl on this website, but I could be MrSmiley* on another
* made up, if correct it's a coincidence

I really don't get how somebody gets hacked. If you keep your password in your head and never give it out to anyone but the damn client, how on earth can it happen?
In any case, I'll sit here on my high horse untill the iPod/iPhone application becomes available. And even then I probably won't even bother.

Keyloggers record when you enter your password to the client.
