Personally, I wouldn't expect anything relating to Old World or Caverns of Time until the next expansion, which is already pretty much confirmed to have a lot of new Old World content. Rather, I suspect the new 5-man and battleground will forward the story and transition the plot from Yogg-Saron to the Lich King.Personally? I suspect we'll see some sort of "resolution" to the Wrynn/Garrosh/Thrall/Jaina situation. The new battleground will involve Wrynn and Garrosh tipping both sides into all-out open warfare, then the new 5-man will involve the Scourge stepping in and rattling both the Horde and Alliance enough for them to get their act together and refocus on taking Icecrown Citadel (which, so far, only the Argent Crusade and Knights of the Ebon Blade seem to care about doing...it would be awkward if we got to the final Icecrown raid and neither the Horde nor Alliance could be assed to part from killing each other to actually go run it, y'know?).Following this patch, both sides go back to the perpetual, uneasy stalemate that makes a sustained MMO setting possible. Not as united as they were at the end of The Burning Crusade where the draenei and blood elves honestly about buddied up, but not to the point of mutually-assured destruction that Garrosh and Wrynn are both jonesing for now.
