I am not a fisher. I only write to take great exception to your comment that fish are easy to buy to level up cooking. As someone who leveled up cooking without fishing because I hate fishing, this is entirely false. At least on my server. I really hate it when writers here take the facts on what is happening on their server and think that all servers operate the same. They don't. When I was leveling fishing I couldn't even buy fish via trade, let alone the AH.
