I, myself, did this within hours after the event started (living in australia time wasn't really an issue being 2pm in the arvo). Only trouble I had was the female dwarf, and when i did get it I got spat on cause it was the last thing I needed (the joys of being horde :)).
Was planning to do the same with my alt, suffice to say I'm not even going to attempt it. I thought the elder's were annoying but I think this just beat it through the boredom.
