30 eggs in 15 minutes seems really low. I've done all the achievements on 3 characters now and camping is definitely the slowest method. In about 30 minutes I've been able to loot up to 100+ eggs just running around. Sure I pissed off a lot of people camping spots, but just because they're camping it doesn't mean it's their eggs.

Ah, so this is how ninjas justify their actions to themselves.

Sorry but it's not ninjaing at all. If you loot the egg then you obviously clicked on it first. Just because someone's standing there doesn't mean they automatically have dibs on every egg that spawns near them.

I had to play on my laptop this weekend. With the towns filled with dozens of players & a laggy wi-fi connection, I had no choice but to camp. I tried running around for eggs, but my screen turned into a slideshow and whenever I'd click on an egg I'd get the message "That object is already being used". Until I could get home to my PC, I had to make due. I actually had a fun system to harass the anti-camper ninjas. It involved toy trains, piccolos, barov servants, banners, picnic baskets, brewfest kegs, explosive sheep, gruntlings with flags, goblin land mines, target dummies, etc, etc. They could either play pixel hunt and get 1 egg every 5 minutes, or /spit & move on. I still managed to get my 200 chocolates in about 2 hours.

Yeah I agree, this is great ninja rationalizing, because clearly if someone is standing right by a camp spot there isn't possibly a polite thing you could do, like find your own spot."30 eggs in 15 minutes seems really low. I've done all the achievements on 3 characters now and camping is definitely the slowest method. In about 30 minutes I've been able to ninja up to 100+ eggs just running around. Sure I pissed off a lot of people camping spots, but honestly I don't care."Fix't.What I would say to any new person reading these comments justifying this behavior, is that these are the same people who would go into a 5 man and need on greens "because they are leveling their enchanting", refuse to alternate skinning beast mobs in a run with multiple skinners "because you can easily farm these outside the 5 man", and likely include ret paladins who would roll on need on blue leather healing gear "for offset", since clearly the resto druid who just healed the group through the instance shouldn't have any priority on that. When you see someone in the WoW world demonstrating this kind of jerk behavior, be sure to put them on your ignore list. If they are a jerk about the Noblegarden eggs, you can bet they will be jerks elsewhere too. That selfish "me-me-me" attitude is what we call a character trait, and most likely a persistent one.

@anonymooseThe whole point of an easter egg hunt is running around finding eggs, not just sitting in one spot and camping them. Last night all the spawn points were heavily camped on my server. Since all those points were camped does that mean I'm not allowed to participate in the event?

"The whole point of an easter egg hunt is running around finding eggs, not just sitting in one spot and camping them. Last night all the spawn points were heavily camped on my server. Since all those points were camped does that mean I'm not allowed to participate in the event? "You had time to play ninja on *3 separate characters*. You could have time to be polite as well. There are likewise multiple folks here stating they found running around *without ninja-ing* they were able to find eggs spawning. You could also find a separate zone to gather in, which is what I did, but then I know that people in game judge me based on my actions. People do take note, and you will be placed on ignore for being a jerk. What did I get for my efforts of going to a less camped zone? Met a new friend, shared a 4 egg node with him. In a short time he got the dress I wanted, which he gave to me. After I got the bunny drop, there was nothing additional I wanted, but I had excess chocolate eggs. Using my eggs, I bought the pants and shirt he wanted, and gave them to him. He no longer needed to gather more eggs and could move on to the next leg of his achievements. He ended up on my friends list, I'm on his. Likely we will help each other again for a future achievement. I'm a healer with BIS gear, this person is far from it--but you can bet, in a second I would go heal a 5 man for this person for demonstrating such fine character. There are several people who ended up on my ignore list as well--as a healer, let me assure you that sometime, somewhere they will need me to get something done. Being on my ignore list means I won't even so much as pug a 5 man, much less an alt raid or anything else. You can justify it all you like, but in the end you are demonstrating your self-centered character trait. It's not necessary to be a jerk to get your achievements done.
